Forever Broken

I'm not sure I enjoy being single.
Inside my heart I've lost that tingle.
What has happened to it all,
that caused us both to fall?

With every thought, another tear is shed.
I just wish it wasn't me you had lead.
I said, my girl you will always be.
I never even thought that you would flee.

My friendship is all you want
as I am no longer an article to flaunt.
How all this came about
I have no recollection but doubt.

Don't come back asking for more
I will just show you the door.
For all the pain you put me through
I know I deserve better than you.
