Meeting To Leaving by Mark Travis
My eyes glance around a room.
They focus and are captivated by beauty.
The walk across to greeting anew.
The smoothe touch of a caressing hand.
Her voice, one of the brightest angel.
Her eyes, little green apples bobbing in the wind.
Her hair, flowing curls as the waves of the ocean.
Her face, lit aglow by the rays of the sun.
As time passes us by
I believe that we can fly.
I know together we'll always be
and eventually we're set free.
Now is time to say goodbye
and I'm afraid I have to sigh,
Forever I will miss you,
from now untill we meet again.
