Poems
- Facc

Facc
         by Cristina V.

I don't know what you're thinking right now
I don't know what you're up to
I do hope you don't mind
If I say it's you who pushes me through.
Every night I pray
That every morning becomes unusual
Unusual in a sense
That every dream at night becomes undone.
Sitting here, thinking of your ways
Of revealing your heart
One thing I'm glad of
You are true to yourself.

You've tried not to ignore me
Not to let me go
I've let you down
And let you slip away.
You've given me strength
You've made me whole again
Don't get me wrong, please don't do
You've made my life come crashing through.

Before I forget, my friend,
I want to thank you for the necklace
It made me realize of who you are to me
You are one of the few things I would remember.

Yes, I cried
I cried to know the fact that you're not mine now
Your every smile, when you look me in the eye
These things I miss, and burn me up inside.
I don't know if I've ended it all between us
I'm a little shaken, I'm scared
I am scared of losing you
I am scared to know that we've come to an end.

Time changes people
Time changes lives
I'm a fighter
But I'm coward
Wait for me to move on, sometime
I won't let go of that time that I've won.

I want you to feel the same, my friend
Thanks for all the memories we've shared
In the end, I want to thank you
You made me stronger.

P.S. Douglas, your friend, wants to extend his regards to your kittens.
