Poets Riddle (1 rating) by Mark Wells
Lamplights ghosted all was well,
Tamed air robed my face as night fell.
Gods altar came out stars thus shine,
Moons mantled face seemed locked in time.
I seek the treasure in the jeweled skies,
My poets heart clamors out and cries.
Wreathed by stars a sacred light,
My odorous heart locks in my plight.
For inspiration is that I seek,
Under the heavens creative juices weep.
As they weep digits scribble,
Unlocking the art of the poets riddle.
