Summer Haiku (15 ratings) by Mark Wells
SUMMER HAIKU
Daylights mooch over fields.
Eye-filling warmth combs dry land,
Tranquil callow breeze.
Saffron foxfire sun.
Prisms of glowing honeyed strobe,
Manacle plaza hedgerows.
Birds fall like fodder.
Bleary radiant tepid full sun,
Orgies of flute like music.
