Unlike You, More Like Me. (1 rating) by Erin D. Wolfhope
Hidden secrets, shattered dreams,
False accusations, pointless schemes.
Perfect pictures, But broken glass,
Time stands still but then its passed.
Unwritten laws, thoughts unsaid,
Bleeding hearts, seas filled with red.
Deeply twisted, rather be,
Unlike you, and more like me.
Trapped inside see only white,
No color, pictures, nothing bright.
Backwards, forwards no in between,
Circle patterns, but still unseen.
Mindless images, full of doubt,
Block all in, let nothing out.
More you wish but never be,
Unlike you and more like me.
Follow the patterns, stay in the lines,
Hide everything different, all the same kind.
But day by day, you'll wish you'd see,
Less like you, and more like me.
Give up others, set your mind free,
Stop following them, let your eyes see.
Or stay and same, and let things be,
More like them, and less like me.
