New Story

i posted the first several chapters of my story in progress, The Lost Vampire. It'll probably be forever before i post the second part. oh well!

my poem is gonna be published!

yeah i entered a contest on poetry.com with "Where the Colors Run," and i didn't win, but apparently i'm entered in the semifinals of some larger contest. they sent me this letter saying they're gonna publish it in a big book "on its own page" even! lol! i dont know what really to make of it. i think they just want me to buy the book and if i dont they wont publish my poem lol. but i think it's cool either way. makes me feel special for a few minutes anyway.

writing

i'm writing a vampire story! it's called "The Lost Vampire." i plan on putting it up on sff world pretty soon, but right now the first few chapters are at fictionpress.com. it still has a loooong way to go, but i like how it's starting. so if you want a peek at it, head up to fictionpress.com and read&review it for me.

what bugs me

you know what bothers me? when people use the wrong grammar/spelling for certain words. like the difference between "its" and "it's" and "they're," their,""there" and "your" and "you're." whenever i read a story where i see one of those errors, it just takes me right out of the whole thing. it's ok whenyou see it once in a story, like maybe it was a typo. but when someone just keeps repeating the mistake...erg! it just freaking bugs me!
