First Poster

~~Alrighty Then~~
I do suppose that this will be my first posting for a SFFworld Blog, and I do have my own specialized blog at: http://eyesinshadow.blogspot.com/

But what the hell, I'll post it here too :) Warning, if you manage to catch my writings for my WIP: Eyes in Shadow, there are spoilers there seeing as how the blog is meant to serve me as a writing journal for this great journey into publishing my first novel. But in any case:

As my first post, I'll be boring, say hi, introduce myself (okay, pretend I introduced myself now) and now I shall talk about Chapter 6 of my WIP.... it's being a pain in the ass >>

I've picked out these two characters to be comedy relief characters and I have deemed in necessary that they MUST get the empathy of the audience or they're plight has failed (thus I see it). But yet editors supposedly want streamline, streamline, streamline. I could go it like the editors supposively ask (I've never really spoken with an editor) but truth is that nowadays, you don't NEED no stinkin' editor! You can self-publish, and it's a seen fact as in the case of Piers Anthony that editors don't always know what is good for them anyways. So after much fighting with Chapter 6, and a futile attempt to put Chapter 6 through a point of view other than the comedy relief characters, I realize that the chapter would have worked just fine by itself.

On the bright side though, I did churn out a better intro :D
