Haunting of Hill House, The by Shirley Jackson

This book had me on the edge of my seat, It is in my opinion one of shirley Jackson's best works. It is one of the best horror books I ever read. This book will will keep you up at night. If you are a fan of horror you will love this book. It is about 4 people picked to stay in a 80 year old country house. All the paranormal activity seems to be focused on 32 year old Elenor Vance, who has a special attachment to the house. After the paranormal activity gets more extreme then just doors slamming and banging on the walls some of the members fell its time to leave, but will they get out alive? Its up to you to find out. This is one of the best horror books i ever read.
