Master and Fool by J.V. Jones

I really enjoyed the first two books of this series. However, I felt a little let down by this, the final edition of the series. I found it very predictable and slow going. Needed to be more creative and even maybe let some of the evil/bad characters win through in the end, instead of the usual good guys always coming through.

A dark Empire is in the shaping and only Jack and Tawl can stop it from happening. In this last volume of the trilogy we follows them in this quest, traveling across sea and land, discovering secrets about themselves as well as their enemies, fighting men as well as sorcery. Simply a great finish to this amazing tale.
