Sacred Ground by Mercedes Lackey

Sacred Ground was an excellent novel. Mercedes Lackey is a very skilled and knowledgable author and managed to craft a unique story in this book. There were unneccesary details at times and at a few points the story became predictable or sounded like something we might have already heard. But notwithstanding such minor faults it was a fine read from an excellent author.

This book like so many of Mistys other novel is a fantastic read. Your really have trouble putting it down. It is based on an native american PI called Kestrel. She in investeigating an insursance fraud that turns out to be much more. It deals with many of the different issues surounding native americans and even thought it is not ment to be a factual interpretation it is a definate read if you are anyway interested in this topic.

I would give it 5 stars.

Go on give it a try along with any of her other novels even if you dont love sci fi fantasy you should find her books well worth the read.
