Some people have disregarded this book simply because it is based on a video-game. I felt the same way, until I actually read the book. Instead of the typical blood'n'guts thriller, this book actually offered an in-depth and high-level literary experience. Being a teacher, I don't often accept game-books, but because of this authors portrayal of an imaginative and scientifically-sound world, I no longer reject such books.
So, throw away your pre-conceptions about a low-level videogame book, and open your mind to the possibility of Halo: The Fall of Reach being a quality literary work.
