Emperor Mage is an amazing work of literature and happens to be my favorite of all of Tamora Pierce's books. Daine is an amazing character and Tamora Pierce is able to describe her wonderfully and still leave our imaginations room to expand her character. It has been my favorite book since I first read it in sixth grade and it still is, even if it does take only a day or two to read it now.
