Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce

Daine Sarrasrihas is an orphan girl whose parents were killed by bandits. She has the ability to communicate with animals, but she is afraid of this ability because she walked on four legs and acted like her animal friends. She is hired by a horsemitress of the queen's riders and must fight Immortals that she meets along the way. She meets a mage who helps her control her gift and realizes that she has Wild Magic. She must defeat many problems to meet new ways of life.

I first fell in love with Tamora Pierce's books when I read Wild Magic. Though the whole series is captivating I by far liked Wild Magic the best. This series is filled with magic, animals, wonderful characters and battle. It is often hard for me to get into a series such as this, but after the first few pages I was hooked! I really do want to reccomend this series to everyone! I hope you read the Immortals series! Enjoy!
