Welcome to Ankh-Morpork and the City Watch.  This is the first novel of the City Watch featuring the wonderful Capt. Samuel Vimes and Carrot.  A wonderful tale of those poor saps who the universe generally fails to smile on.  As in the tradition of Discworld, very tongue in cheek humor.  Great book.
