Time Ships, The by Stephen Baxter

The Time Ships is the excellent sequel to the classic The Time Machine. It portrays a complex but surprisingly emotionally look at how the future loops within various dimensions neither existing upon one particular plain but instead many different ones. The final stages of the book get technical and quite hard to understand but nevertheless is a triumph of science fiction.
