Heads is set in the same "universe" as Moving Mars, a few decades prior to the events of Moving Mars. Most of the story plays out in a research-facility on the moon.

This is a brilliant novel than is rich in scientific speculation as well as religious and moral questions. The novel seems, to me at least, to be making a jab at Scientology, since the religion featured in the novel has quite a few similarities with Scientology.

The pace is break-neck fast and packs an enormous amount of story into a quite thin book. You can, as I have, easily read the entire book in a single sitting.

I highly recommend this fascinating book to anyone. Then after this book, tackle Moving Mars.
