It was a truly wonderful book. Enchanting, dazzling and humorous. This book is a great way to enjoy reading and understand old folk tales. Please read it for yourself and find out.

This is truly a wonderful book. Card is unlike any writer I have ever read. This book is not that long but in such a short time Card is able to completely draw you into the world that he weaves for you. OSC has a way of writing that allows you to feel what is it the characters feels. If you are a long time fan of OSC or just looking new sci fi/fantasy authors you can't go wrong. Card is one of the great writers of sci fi ever.

This is one of the best books I have ever read. Even if you aren't the fairy tale fanatic that I am, you will enjoy this book. It is a tightly woven story with deep, memorable characters. There is something for everyone: magic, romance, battles, and a little bit of humor. Orson is a master storyteller, this book is a textbook example of writing at it's finest. If you have never read anything of his, this is a great place to start!
