(Jan 16, 2005)If, like me you suffer from an even mildly addictive personality then do not pick this book up. The author has the rare talent of being able to draw you in from the first line and leave you begging for more at the end (which thankfully there is!)With a sharp and imaginative brain this lady has the potential to have her name spoken with that of the amazing Prof. Tolkein. If you are looking for a book that makes you forget you are alive and plunge head first into sheer unadulterated fantasy then this is for you.
The ONLY negative thing I have to say is that as usual British publishers are running more than a little behind time, and getting hold of a copy of this gem is much harder than it should be!!!
Nether the less anyone who has read and fallen for the works of Tolkein and Donaldson cannot fail to be impressed.
