The demon and the Knight of the world were good, all considered, but what does Angel Fire East add more to the series? It is well written, of course, but I didn't like it, mainly because, though it is supposed to be the conclusion of a trilogy, it does not give solution to any of the problems posed in the first two volumes. The reader is left with thousands of questions. Will they ever be answered? I have the feeling that Brooks could write dozen of books in the series of the Word and the Void without getting to the point (a similar situation is going on with the Landover series). AFE didn't leave any positive impression, I think I will soon forget it!
