With The War of the Worlds coming out I've been reading alien invasion books. Delowe's reason for the aliens invasion is very believable and scary. Sometimes it seems Delowe gets a little too cute with his compound sentences but the book is very detailed. His characters are appealing. By the end of the book, you wonder how angels are involved in the battle for Earth. But if you read carefully, he did set it up.

I just read Alien Armageddon for the second time and I am still numb.  I saw an interview where Brean De Lowe said the book was a tribute to the H.G. Wells invasion legacy.  Alien Armageddon is much, much more than that.  It is so alive with images that it's like wearing a virtual reality visor.  I never thought I would understand how electromagnestism would allow aliens to access higher realms around Earth, or how a high tech submarine uses light reflection to chart alien vessels.  Every page of the book was written for intelligent readers, but not ina condescending way. For once I enjoyed a female lead character who is strong but feminine.  De Lowe has a keen mind and imagination. It may be the best invasion ever. I found it on Amazon.com, but you may be able to find it at other places.

Would you like to go to sleep with a good book?  Alien Armageddon: The Coming of Cepheus is definitely not it.  Brean De Lowe's stunning novel will keep you wide awake and on the edge of your seat.  What looks initially like the well-worn alien invasion cliche turns into something unexpectedly more.
The boo's premise: Aliens traveling the universe stumble upon radio waves from planet Earth.  They come to Earth and immediately begin preparing Earth for removal to their star system; you guessed it, the Cepheus constellation.  One of the more fascinating aspects of the book is how De Lowe wove one electromagnetic thread to cleverly blend the book's action, romance, and even the breath-taking alien invasion.
De Lowe's voice is barely a whisper in the book.  Instead he relies on scientific subtlety, his spectacular imagination, and the voices of his diverse array of characters.
Alien Armageddon is one great invasion.
