`The Blue Sword' is the second in the Chronicles of Damar, following `The Hero and the Crown'. Picking up many years later the story follows the adventures of a young woman called Harry. A foreigner to Damar she is bewildered by the immediate feeling of home and her strange connections to the land and the original tribal Damarans, led by Corath. This book is beautifully written, and detailed in such a way as to make you feel as if you are actually there with the characters. I felt as if I could feel the heat of the desert and smell the wind while reading this. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who loves good fantasy writing and books that totally absorb you.
