Druid of Shannara, The by Terry Brooks

I thought that this book was incredibly good. There were many different emotions all throughout this book, and I was unable to stop reading this book at any point. The doomed love between Morgan and Quickening gave it that romantic feel, the fight scenes with anything, be it creepers, the Maw Grint, or even Uhl Belk himself gave it a feel of action, and Walker's continual conflict with doing this to become the one thing he despises the most is intriguing and keeps your attention. Overall, a great read!

The Druid was an excellent read. This book involved the reader emotionally and was one that greatly affected me. The plot was intricately woven and concluded with the heartbreaking end that was inevitable. One finds herself just as torn as Walker at his predicament and winces at every pain underwent by the well-developed characters. A good book, indeed.
