I am an avid reader of Terry Brooks! Ever since I was introduced to him in the 7th grade (I am in 9th now), I have absolutely loved him! I believe that he surpasses all other authors BY FAR! His Shannara series are the most vivid and imaginative series of all time. They are greater than those of the king of fantasy: J.R.R Tolkien!
In THE VOYAGE OF THE JERLE SHANNARA: ANTRAX, I believe that Brooks shows a true passion for the intwining of romance, fantasy and science-fiction. These qualities make it a wonderful book! It is definetly a worthy sequel to ISLE WITCH and to that of all the other Shannara books! I am definetly looking forward to the rest of Terry Brooks' novels such as Morgawr and The next trilogy in the series!!

This book is probably one of the best books I've read in a long time. Brooks uses an excellent mixture of sci-fi and fantasy that would capture just about anyone's attention. I have read all the Shannara books and have enjoyed every page of them. This one, though, was awesome. I liked it so much I finished it in 2 days. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I thought this book was the perfect way to continue on from Ilse Witch. Terry Brooks is an excellent author and I have fully enjoyed all his books. I am egarly awaiting his third book to this set. I think this book deserved a 4 because one of my favorite characters has died. I hope in the next book, my favorite does not die. (Truls)
