This book was perfection of writing. I read it one day after I came across it in the library. I wound up making my mom read it and she loved it, almost more than I did. (Almost) I wasn't really expecting her to because I'm 13 and she's 49, but then I realized that this book affects the soul, no matter the age.
Normally I would have finished a book that size in about two days, but I wound up taking longer. It was hard to put down, but I had to put it down anyway, because it kept making me stop and think. I think (or hope) I'm a nicer person now, and if I am I owe it all to this book.
The funny thing is I used to not believe in angels, but if they're anything like Lani Garver, maybe I should have more faith.(?) This book was inspiring and impossibly well written, it seems to me that Carol Plum-Ucci may just be an angel herself.

I just finished What Happened To Lani Garver for the third book and it still amazes me. Carol Plum-Ucci is such a talented writer. She comes up with the most crazy ideas but when you read her books and actually think about the words ou are reading, it is pure genius. It fits perfectly and it makes total sense. I am not embarrassed to say that I cried a few times while reading it, each time. She always slips many lessons into this book. Everytime I read it I read it more carefully and learn something new and see something new in the writing each time. I will never be bored of reading this book. It is simply incredible! What Happened To Lani Garver has been my favorite book for a while now and I am pretty sure it will be like that for a long time too.

I just finished this book. Just like The Body of Christopher Creed, I couldn't put it down until I finished it. I came close to tears multiple times, and got chills (as is expected in any of Carol Plum-Ucci's novels haha). As was said already, you think about this book for quite a while after you're done. I'm still contemplating how wise Lani Garver was, and I truly believe he is a floating angel. He was an amazing person, and forever changed lots of lives. This book is truly amazing, holds you from beginning to end. You HAVE to read it.
