I love the book but mostly part two when Ben, Ned, Karay, and Dominic are looking for Amado.
The first part is also good when he catches Captain Madrid cheating.
At the end when Amado is dressed up as the bear surprised me I honestly thought he was dead! I would defiantly recommend this book to sea loving and adventure people.

An exhilarating and breath-taking tale of a boy, filled with opaque sadness and his loyal dog, Brian Jacques has recaptured the pace and intensity of his former book, 'Castaways of the Flying Dutchman'and has combined life on the sea to life in a cave well, creating a phenomenal and inspiring series, fit for a king!

This book was extraodinary. I enjoyed Brian Jacques good accent that he adds to the characters. Plus there aren't any good sailor and ship novels that stand close to this book. This book makes you feel as if you really were on a ship sailing about the great carribean sea. Of course I highly recommend it.
