I really enjoy all her books but this one just doesn't do it for me at all. Too much sex in it. In just about each page you read she is having sex with someone. Does Anita ever get a break. I thought we should of went into maybe a bit more about the church and other characters in the book. I felt this book was written fast just to put something out there for readers. I hope Micah is alot better.

I find Anita Blake novels fast-paced and surprising, she has a fabulous attitude towards life, and her relationship with Jean-Claude has some very interesting developments. Can't wait until Micah is on sale. I think that Narcissus Chains was enough about Micah personally, we learnt about his past, etc. He doesn't seem like too big of a character to have one named after him. Great guy though.

Not up to snuff. The plot twists, red herrings, and constant energy were missing from this episode. Yes, you learn more about the characters but at what price.
Let's hope Ms Hamilton has what ever this was out of her system and either kills Anita off or returns to what made her a crossover favorite.
