secret of platform 13 by Eva Ibbotson

I think The Secret of Platform Thirteen is definetly worth the read. Eva Ibbitson's deep insight captures the reader's mind and allows them to create vivid, visual pictures in their minds. I had to choose a book for my school project and when I didn't have enough time to read Great Expectations, I discovered this book, and I got so into it I was finished two days later! Eva really can relate to the feelings of her main characters and make them come to life, even though not all of her characters are human. I would reccomend this fantasy to any avid readers who are looking for a thrilling tale of adventure, anxiety and friendship. Happy reading!
