Spindle is a hilarious comedy science fiction novel that follows Peter Turner during his first week as a Trooper in the Space Force. The job isn't exactly what he expected it to be. His partner is a sociopathic thug with no respect for rules or authority, and within days the two troopers have picked up two unofficial new crewmembers: a human called Nono with no memory of his past, and a brilliant alien scientist who changed his name to Funky Science God to impress a girl. The foursome encounter a vast planet-eating space beast that has consumed an inhabited world. Is the creature's presence in Ataxic sector a coincidence or an act of genocide? Can the Spindle crew solve that mystery and save Earth from destruction? Can they help Nono discover his past and keep Peter from being beaten to death by his own partner? In space, every day is Monday aboard the Spindle. Who'd want to join the Space Force?
