A Planet Called Treason by Orson Scott Card

Phenominal book. I read it the first time when I was 13 or 14. I am now 30. It is a book, like all of Orson Scott Card's books, which I recall vividly because of the details, ideas, and descriptions he uses. Card is a master at intertwining religion, politics and many other effects upon man in all of his stories. His character descriptions are literally out of this world.

"A Planet Called Treason" is an awesome book from beginning to end. The plot is fantastic as are Card's imagination and creativity with the characters and environments. Through vivid descriptions of the landscape, you can almost put yourself on Treason and in the situations that the hero, Lanik, faces himself.
