Kadakas IV by Steven P Warr

This book was hard to put down. It is a space adventure with the heroes facing the dangers and uncertanties of reaching and exploring a distant earth like planet. The orginality of the story comes from some applications of teleportation technologies that are unique. The author couples that with plain old outer space adventure to produce an exciting tale of man versus monsters and hostile environments. It reminded me of classic science fiction stories written by the great SiFi writters of the 50's and 60's.
