This is the third book of Robert Asprin's Myth Adventures series of books. The humor level and plot interest drop off a bit from the first two books of the series but this is still a fine read. In this book Skeeve and Tananda initially go off on an adventure that goes haywire and a hostage situation develops that must be resolved. There is a game that must be played and this part stumbles by not being as detailed, dramatic, or surprising as it could have been. Again, you get to meet new characters and revisit a character from the first book. The quality of this book is maintained over prior ones at an enjoyable level.
