(Jun 16, 2008)The book “The Orion Protocol” really started out slow and sometimes incomprehensible. The reason is that I am not very good at technical reading books. But I could see that Mr. Tigerman needed you to know some background before he could hit you with an awesome ending. The book starts with a pair of astronauts returning from the moon. The astronauts later separate as one follows the lines of NASA and the military while the other is an outcast and leaves the ranks. Both have a secret about the moon and space travel that must not be shared, until Angela Browning comes into view when she starts to get anonymous photos about Mars and the moon landing.
The book does seem to slow a little in the middle, but again reading the end alone is worth all the gold this book can produce. I recommend it to anyone that has an open mind. It got me to think a little more about the world around us.
