(Jan 09, 2006)I'm not sure why there isn't a review already about this book. I figure I may as well even though I've still got 2 chapters before I finish it.
I've found David Eddings writting always keeps me interested with a nice and varried pace. I have read other pieces of his work and am not really sure why I hadn't read the Ellenium earlier. (I've read the Tamuli. Go figure.)
The Ruby Knight is a must read. Considering it falls between the first and last of the series. Other than that it has some amazing plot twists and confrontations between pivitol characters. The action is fast paced yet dosn't slow to greatly in calmer moments. It leaves you feeling as if you must turn the page or you will slow the quest.
If your a fan of eddings get your hand on this book.... What am I saying. If your a fan of eddings. No doubt you've read this masterpiece.
