I totally loved this book! I couldn't put it daown, and I'm now reading In the Forests of the Night. (wrong order, I know, but oh well) I love how she described everything in such detail! It was like you were living the book!! The characters really grow on you, too. I felt like I truly knew Jessica, Aubrey, and Caryn like they were my best friends. I've read tons of vampire books, and this one is definately the most believable. (and my favorite)Well, if you haven't read this you should, because it's great!!

Trite. Dishonest with the characters. Explores the surface and all the mechanics without delving into the intimacies. In general, too busy trying to justify it for any real enjoyment to take place. I'm very disheartened to know that she is the representative of all young authors, such as myself.

I've read all four of Amelia's books and I would have
to say that Demon In My View is the best one. The story always keeps you on your toes and you would never get bored while reading it. It is written and described so well that you feel like you are actually there witnessing the events. This will probably be my most favorite book of all time and I definatly give it a 5 out of 5.

I thought that the book was very very well written.... The story line was interesting and kept me reading.. I never got bored during the book.. It was always mysterious or exciting... It was detailed.. I could image what was happing in the book in my head.. It was mysterious but not confusing at any point.. I hate confusing books.. I loved this.. and I love how she wrote it

I have read three out of the four of the books in Amelia Atwater-Rhode's gripping vampire series, and I have to say "Demon In My View" is the absolute best. The character descriptions and plot are quite impressive for a girl who is only one year older than I am! And as a writer myself, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was sympathetic for Jessica, who hardened herself against the world and secretly just wanted to fit in; I was enchanted by the darkly handsome Aubrey (whom I really hope Atwater-Rhodes will bring back in future novels). Kudos to you, Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, you have a very promising future ahead of you.
