This book definetly lives up to the reputation of its predecessors of the Banned and Banished series. It tells the story of the recapture of A'loa Glen by Elena and Co. in a thrilling mix of redemption, corruption, suspense, and magickal rebirth. It also, finally explores a deeper depth of Elena and Er'rils relationship, which I am sure we ALL have been waiting and hoping for.I really loved this third installment of Elenas story.

I recently finshed the third installment of the series, The Banned and the Banished.  This is by far the best book in the series.  It covers almost every emotion you can think of.  I have to admit, when I read the first book, I thought "Well here comes another superhero story."  But as I got further in that book and into the second and now the third, I am VERY wrong.  This series gets you so involved with the characters that you get a little sadness when the character dies.  It almost makes you want to root against the heroes so that the misery they go through will just end.  With these novels, James Clemens displays the best character development and best storylines I have EVER seen.  I have read the classics like Tolkien and others but this man surpasses even them.  I truly hope that we do not have to wait long to get the last two books in the series and I also hope that after this is concluded, he starts writing another series as good as this.  So, I just want to say that this is my new Favorite author and Wit'ch War is my new Favorite book.  So, go buy these now people.

I have recently finished Wit'ch War, the third in the Banned and the Bannished series and found that it is a great addition to a superb series!  Clemens' strength is in his characters who are compelling and vibrantly alive.  The fast-paced action of the dark storyline is addictive and kept me awake many hours past my bedtime.  I have to admit it is nice to see that the fate of a land depends on a young girl to come of age and grow into her power.  Elena demonstrates fine characteristics worthy of any heroine!

I anticipate the release of the fourth installation to the series!  Hopefully, we won't have to wait too long!
