The way that the book begins where she is a slave where there is no way of escape then the inevitable happens. A whole new world is opened up to her, one she never even new existed.
Its a story of battle for life between the light and the dark, a time of sad and lost memories regained, happiness and pain, fear and anger.
This is a must read. If I couldn't put the book down then neither will you be able to. The writing itself opens the doors of the mind and takes you into a strange and fantastic world of the perilous journey of the young Maered with her mentor and friend Cadvan of Lirigon.
It tells of her road from Slavery to the last surviving bard of the School of Pellinor. This novel will truly grip you and keep you reading for hours on end without fail!
