I have never been interested in fantasy books, they never caught my interest. When I had to read Dragonsong for a book report, I immediately fell in love with the series. This surprised my friends because I never had been so interested in a fantasy book that I didn't want to put it down. Anne McCaffrey has her own mark that no other author will ever accomplish.

My friend gave me this book to read and I think it's great. I now have Dragonsinger and Dragondrums borrowed from her. I want to read the whole series, and if she doesn't have it I'll look at the library or buy it if I have to. I hadn't read any fantasy books before, and after my boyfriend broke up with me (whom I love) I find these books a good escape. I'd recommend them to everyone.
