THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!I have just finished reading it in school and it's really sad when Michael's baby sister is dying. The ending is brilliant!I thought at first when our English teacher took it out that it was going to be a boring book as the front cover didn't look very appealing, but I learnt to never judge a book by it's front cover! If anyone reading this hasn't read Skellig do so NOW!I havn't read any other of David Almond's books, but I certainly will now.

This book is great I could hardly put it down, all my friends are reading it as well, Michael can be really fun and great but he can carry on a bit to much. Mina is feally funny but she dribbles on a bit too much. Skellig is probably my favorite,he is so mysterious. It's really clever how David describes all the charactors.

Skellig is one great book! It is about a boy called Michael and a girl called Mina and together they discover Skellig in Michael's garage! Skellig is a-oops better not tell ya!Read Skellig and find out for yourself the great thrill of it!

This book is hauntingly luminous. David Almond not only has the uncanny ability to induce the reader to believe the unbelievable but also see, hear, sense, and smell it.
Its an unforgettable original story that is uniquely rare and transcendent.

Skellig is a very moving and up lifting story. It makes you think about the book and it makes you want to read more. This book could be a real life situation and can make you feel like you are in the book itself. My marks to it are ten out of ten.
