Skellig is just wonderful. David Almond has truly outdone himself. Everything in this book is in detail from the sadness of Mike to his happiness as he flies with Skellig and Mina. He has written about the supernatural meaning out of the ordinary thus composing the most fascinating and memorable book I have ever read. I really recommend this book to anyone who has never read this book before. I just done it for a school project but I think that even if I did not do it for the project I would have still loved it.
Hope you will enjoy the book.
Thanks!

LOL! as you can tell by me email I'm completly obsessed with this book,I must've read it 10 times now, I've also read Kits wilderness, Counting Stars, Heaven eyes, and Secret Heart, which was just released about a month ago. All these books are amazing...espically Skellig, the details are amazing, the characters are life-like, it feels like I'm right there next to Mike and Mina talking to Skellig. You MUST read this book, please you won't regret it I promise.
(P.S. Heaven eyes is the second best book by David Almond)

THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!I have just finished reading it in school and it's really sad when Michael's baby sister is dying. The ending is brilliant!I thought at first when our English teacher took it out that it was going to be a boring book as the front cover didn't look very appealing, but I learnt to never judge a book by it's front cover! If anyone reading this hasn't read Skellig do so NOW!I havn't read any other of David Almond's books, but I certainly will now.

This book is great I could hardly put it down, all my friends are reading it as well, Michael can be really fun and great but he can carry on a bit to much. Mina is feally funny but she dribbles on a bit too much. Skellig is probably my favorite,he is so mysterious. It's really clever how David describes all the charactors.

Skellig is one great book! It is about a boy called Michael and a girl called Mina and together they discover Skellig in Michael's garage! Skellig is a-oops better not tell ya!Read Skellig and find out for yourself the great thrill of it!
