This is a worthy continuation to an ever expanding world of Premier fantasy. With the reintroduction of certain characters absent since book 2 of the series, its like meeting good friends who have just popped back into your life.

The Author has shown that he is building a world with this epic series to rival any of the supposed "Kings" of this genre. I can say in all honesty that the quality of the writing and the story are the best I have come across in 20 years of reading fantasy. The aspect of freshness that Erikson manages to convey into this work is truly amazing. "Long live the Bridgeburners" (or not!!!)
