This series is incredible. I've been reading sci-fi and fantasy books for years and have noticed many of them have the same basic plots and characters and Mary-Sues. This series blew me out of the water. The originality was outstanding. It just goes to show that some authors still have an active, vibrant imagination and that they aren't just pumping out books by formula.

James Clemens is amazing! I could not put any of the books down once I started them! The characters are great and the story grabs and holds you. Mr. Clemens also makes sure to keep you on edge. You hold your breath as the characters get in and out of trouble. Overall the story is action packed, well written, and you really love or hate every character. Once you read these books your mouth will water waiting for more!

Two great books. The first book was hard to put down and finished it in two days. The second was also very good... Alot of great imagination... but towards the end it seemed a lack of effort. But all in all Two great books. Im waiting for the third.
