I am a huge fan of fantasy novels and I saw The Ancient Future in the library and I was hooked. The story is really good, although all the time-travel can get confusing. I am now fascinated with the history of Wales and everything that is relate with the story, especially Atlantis. My favourite character is Selwyn and I hope everyone who reads the trilogy loves it as much as I do.

I'm going to add to the praise of these books. I fell in love with the Ancient Future nearly three years ago now when it was recommended to me by a friend. I've just finished the latest one, Tablet of Destinies, which is just as amazing, although it does delve more into the spirituality/humanity side of things, whereas I was more interested in the historical side of things. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it's still a REALLY REALLY (can't state that enough) good book. Traci Harding should be congratulated for her amazing story telling talent and the characters that I fall in love with everytime. (Hands up who wants to marry Brockwell??) I for one, can't wait to see a movie adaptation of the series, but from what I've heard that could be a long way away, if it happens at all. But when it does, I'm first in line to play Katren...

I was recommended the Ancient Future series by a friend a while ago, and I also read it a while ago, so forgive my memory if it's not very good. I was just reading a couple of reviews on this series, and thought I would add my two cents, (or five, since there are no more two cent coins in Aussie currency). This series was one of the worst I have ever read. The characters were boring, shallow and irritating, particularly in the way that everyone fell in love with Tory. I would like to strangle Tory and stuff her into a box with her v-shaped waistline dresses.

I was introduced to these books by a friend and I now taken them on board as my favorite books, I love the old English language and world, it's great! The characters are well described and you can almost feel as though you are there with Tory, Calin Brockwell, Katren and all the other guys. I am also enjoying the new series that are coming, I think it was a great idea to explain some of the parts you didn't get to read in the first trilogy, like when Inanna tried to get the dragon king to forget Tory!

Ummm... we had to read two books for English, and my friend decided to read the Ancient Future and that's when I Got hooked... my cousin says that it was written real clumsy but I think that sucks... it's soooo good, I've read every book she's written approx. twice (what?! I said it was good...now don't you dare call me a freak!!!) the only part that I'd say was boring is when Maelgwn talks to himself in Chronicle of Ages.
