Submitted by Tony (Jan 03, 2001)I have read all the books in the Ender series and have found all of them extremely well written. The last book is titled "Enders Shadow" and it is really a great addition to the series. What it adds is the perspective of Bean and how he fit into the whole of Enders Game. Thanks and also if you get a chance, read Card's Alvin series. Submitted by les (Jan 03, 2001)I have read all of the books of the Ender series(Ender's game, Speaker for the dead, Xenocide, Children of the mind and Ender's shadow) and have never found any other book that's better than these. Especially the first one. I have recommended this book to at least 10 people and every one of them enjoyed it. Even my mother. Submitted by ostone_com@hotmail.com (Dec 28, 2000) As a die-hard Ender fan I had decided to start recommending this book to almost everyone I know about four years ago. Since then, I have found that from English teachers, that won't read speculative fiction, to grandma's, to teenagers, male and female, that this book is a hit all-around. Of the people that I bought copies of "Ender's Game" for almost all of them have read "Speaker for the Dead," and the only person who didn't like it still found it compelling and well written (they were disturbed by the children at war thing and peter, rightly so). This series has become the pillar for my love of reading. So, if you are thinking about buying a nice shiny book (or a used one) buy "Ender's Game." --Matthew E. Boyce Submitted by Zack (Dec 04, 2000)I was in the midst of reading a fantasy series (the Shannara books by Terry Brooks), which I had borrowed from someone. I was done with the book, so I went to him and asked for the next book. He didn't have it, but recommended one book that he'd loved: Ender's Game. I thought the name was stupid at first, but it didn't seem so stupid when I realized 'Ender' was a name. :) Since then I've read the sequel, 'Speaker for the Dead', and am in the midst of reading the next sequel up, 'Xenocide'. If you're a fantasy/sci-fi reader, you'll love this series.
