Dragon Moon Press

ISBN # 1896944094

Edited by Darin Park and Tom Dullemond

THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO WRITING FANTASY is a compilation of tips for the Fantasy genre. It is written by a variety of authors from short stories and poetry to books and novels. These tips are useful for beginners and those that all ready have books published.

It takes a look at everything that goes into the process of writing a fantasy tale. It begins by explaining what makes a piece of work a fantasy rather then any other genre. It gives details to make your work more believable to your audience.

Some of the details it goes into is medieval clothing, creating a world, health and medicine, magic, mythology and religion, just to name a few.

This is one of the most concise and complete collections on fantasy writing that I have ever read. It answers all those questions that are behind the scenes when writing a fantasy. It provides websites for research and a visual to what the book is describing.

I think this is one of the most helpful books on the subject I have ever read and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in writing fantasy, whether for fun, such as a D&D adventure or professionally. Dragon Moon Press also printed a companion to this book, The Fantasy Writer's Companion.
