Biography

Hailing from the Philadelphia area, Chuck Dixon has described himself as a 'sick kid' with a voracious appetite for comic books who knew from a young age he would never grow out of them. Destined not to be an artist like his hero Steve Ditko, Dixon instead turned to writing and got his first big break when Larry Hama hired him to write Savage Sword of Conan. Long runs on Punisher and Detective Comics lead to a regular Robin series and several other Batman related titles. Chuck currently writes multi-genre stories for CrossGen Comics.
