Brian K. Vaughan was born in 1976 in Cleveland, Ohio and currently resides in San Diego with his new wife. A professional comic book writer 1996, Vaughan is the co-creator of many critically acclaimed titles such as Y The Last Man, Runaways, Ex Machina and The Hood. He has written for many of the major DC and Marvel titles including Batman and X-Men.
