My wife and I found the book in a small "zimmer frei" (bed & breakfast)in southern Germany last week. We were only there one night but I started reading it and couldn't put it down. When we checked out the next morning, I asked the Frau if I could purchase the book from her. She said to please just take it, that it had been left by a previous guest. Thank you, whoever you are! I have now shared it with a close friend and another is anxiously waiting in line to borrow it. This is a fascinating, thought-provoking read. July 10 won't get here soon enough (the day scheduled for release of book two). I am afraid I am solidly in the Grid, but at least feel more prepared to encounter it and more careful in what gets revealed.

I purchased my first copy of The Traveller last June in Geneva, Switzerland. Once I finished reading it I went back to the library and bought four other copies to give to some friends and family. This book means very much to me in simply an inexplicable way. I gave my copy to my kid brother who came to spend the holiday with me. I called him after he went back home and had spent over a hour on the phone with him talking about the book. He kept asking me if the second one had come out or not and that if I could send him a copy as soon as it had. What I didn't know was that this was the last conversation I had with my kid brother. He died the follwing day. I was glad that I had given him the book and that it was the last story he got to read. I kept going back to the library to see if the next book had come out, I was told it wouldn't be before July this year. What I am poorly trying to say is I found the story in the book one of the best I have ever read or experienced (and God knows I read an enormous amount of books every month). To John Twelve Hawks I thank you. I wish you happiness and prosperity wherever you are and whoever you might be. Kindest regards, Keren

I was given this book to read while i was on holiday and it had me gripped I was travelling around califonia at the time and it was quite freaky as the parts i was reading were the places i was visiting at the same time.I think the story is very close to reality and look forward to the next instalment

I wanted to know if he had a sequel to the traveler and couldn't find out if he did reading this gives me a better idea. Still I'm a bit curious.
