There have been other books/stories that use the character Van Helsing. However, in my story, if you do decide to read it further, you will see a drastic change in the 'usual' way that Van Helsing is portrayed.

Not a bad start, although so far there hasn't been anything terribly original. Heck, you even used the name Van Helsing, as if you were immitating Bram Stoker. This has potential, but you'd better have something very unexpected happen soon, and you'd better justify your using of the name of a character from a better known vampire story.

A gripping read. A must for all Vampire story readers.
