Wow - that was intense. I had tears in my eyes when he touched the living wood and climbed up for that apple. Very well done. The boy/master spell ending was a complete surprise. I'm not sure if it was a good surprise or not. Though it was a horrible world that he was trapped in, it was alluring in it's own dreadful way. I was ready to stay in that world, at least for a little while longer.
