Back to poem

Submitted by Missnicc (Jun 16, 2010)

I wrote a poem titled "Raise the White Flags, Turn on the Tube" Feb. 8th 2009. I just thought it was fantastically similar to your poem. I loved your message, and the poem itself was great. The line about smoking their cigars was very clever and added the right touch to the overall idea. IF you so care to read a fellow poets discontent, "Raise the White Flags, Turn on the Tube" I hate the fucking TV screen and with it the nightmares it brings. False hope dancing across the TV screen, if not that, than exploited baby screams. No manipulation required just plug in those wires and the easiest war has been won.
